Thank you for using PuzzleTime (“PuzzleTime,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes the information that may be collected when you use PuzzleTime, why it is collected, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

• Display name
• Email address when you sign in with Google, Apple, or another supported provider
• Anonymous account identifier
• Profile picture or avatar, when you choose to upload one

Puzzle activity

• Puzzle brand, title, image, and piece count
• Completion times, dates, notes, tags, and personal statistics
• Progress, rankings, badges, achievements, and event results

Social and event features

• Friends, friend requests, and shared activity
• Event registrations, participation status, and submitted results
• Content you choose to share with other users

Technical information

PuzzleTime and its service providers may process basic technical information needed to operate and secure the App, such as device type, operating system, app version, authentication logs, and diagnostic information.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another disclosed payment provider. PuzzleTime does not receive or store your full credit-card number.

• Provide, maintain, and secure PuzzleTime
• Create and manage accounts and profiles
• Save puzzle history and synchronize data across devices
• Calculate statistics, rankings, progress, and achievements
• Enable friend, social, and event features
• Manage purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements
• Respond to support requests
• Diagnose problems and improve the App
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse

Third-party services

PuzzleTime relies on service providers that may process information under their own privacy policies. Depending on the features enabled, these providers may include:

• Supabase for authentication, database services, cloud functions, and file storage
• Google Sign-In and Google Play services
• Sign in with Apple and Apple in-app purchase services
• Firebase services, when enabled
• Stripe, when used for supported payments or event registration

These providers receive only the information reasonably needed to perform services for PuzzleTime.

Data storage and security

Information is stored using cloud infrastructure operated by trusted service providers. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to use protections appropriate for the information involved.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to operate PuzzleTime through contracted providers; comply with law or legal process; protect users and prevent abuse; or complete a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

User content and visibility

Profile details, puzzle activity, event participation, rankings, and other information you choose to share may be visible to friends, event participants, or other users, depending on the feature and your available privacy settings. Avoid uploading information that you do not want shared with the intended audience.

Children’s privacy

PuzzleTime is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Data retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide PuzzleTime, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When an account is deleted, associated personal information will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a portable copy of personal information associated with your account, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as PuzzleTime changes. The current version will remain available on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published.
